Hechter Aircraft, LLC; formally known as Harry Hechter Co., Inc.; has over 50 years of experience serving the aviation community. Our 24,000 square foot warehouse, located in Los Angeles, California has in stock, one of the largest inventories of Pratt & Whitney radial aircraft engine parts available. Additionally we stock a large inventory of Curtiss-Wright radial aircraft engine parts. We also have available pistons for Lycoming engines. Skypower Inc. and Flight Center are also now located in our facilities.

Parts
We have 10,000 new or serviceable cylinders in stock and ready to ship. We carry a full stock of parts for the following Pratt & Whitney (P&W) engines: R985, R1340, R1830, R2000, R2800,and 4360. Our in-stock inventory covers the following Curtis-Wright (C-W) engines: 975, 1300, 1820, 2600, and 3350.

Engines
We can provide OHC engines built by Aero Engines. A P&W R985 or R1340 can be shipped within 24 hours. We can also supply R1830, R2000 and R2800 OHC engines. C-W models 1300, 1820 and 2600 can also be provided.

Pistons
Hechter Aircraft has pistons available from Combustion Technologies (CT). CT is the finest builder of high performance pistons in the U.S., supplying NASCAR automotive champions and discriminating aircraft operators. All of their pistons are forged, offer superior heat- resistance, and are lighter in weight. We offer CT pistons for all Lycoming engines as well as P&W models R2000 and R2800. Additionally we stock P&W and FAA/PMA manufactured pistons for all P&W engines.
